Is OnlineAudioEdit really 100% free?
Yes, completely free. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, no watermarks, and no artificial file size limits. Every tool — including AI Noise Reduction and 11 voice effects — is available to all users at zero cost.
Do my audio files get uploaded to a server?
No. Your files never leave your computer. All decoding, editing, filtering, and spectral noise reduction run entirely inside your web browser using Web Audio API and TensorFlow.js. We have no backend servers storing your recordings.
What audio formats are supported?
You can import MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, WEBM, and AIFF files. You can export your finished audio as uncompressed WAV or compact MP3.
How does AI Noise Reduction work in the browser?
Our AI Noise Reduction uses TensorFlow.js to perform spectral gating directly on your device. It learns the noise profile from your recording and suppresses steady-state background noise (hiss, hum, fan noise) while preserving voices and music.
Can I use this on mobile phones?
Yes! OnlineAudioEdit is fully mobile responsive and works smoothly in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on iOS and Android devices.
