Microphone Test

Check if your microphone is working properly. Speak into your mic to see the visualizer move, or record a short clip to listen back.

How to Test Your Microphone

1. Click the Start Mic Test button above.

2. If prompted by your browser, click Allow to grant microphone access. We do not store or upload any audio; everything runs locally on your device.

3. Speak into your microphone. If it's working, you will see the green visualizer bar move in response to your voice.

4. To check audio quality, click Record Voice, speak for a few seconds, then click Stop Recording. An audio player will appear so you can listen back.

Troubleshooting

If the visualizer isn't moving, try the following:

Check if your microphone has a physical mute button or switch that is turned on.
Ensure the correct microphone is selected from the dropdown list above the visualizer.
Check your operating system's sound settings to make sure the microphone volume isn't set to zero.
In your browser's address bar, click the site settings icon (usually a padlock) and verify that microphone access is set to "Allow".
